tricked many libertarians into believing that they (the Tea Party) are
anything but rubber stamp Republicans, is just sad and these smarmy,
self righteous goons who have the internet or at least a library card
can do simple little things like look up Scott Brown's voting record
and general rotten attitude towards his constituents. No morning after
pills for rape victims? Scott Brown is a true Republican.
Scott Brown, true Republican
He opposes equal marriage. In fact, he voted for a constitutional
amendment in MA “defining marriage as between one man and one woman.”
Clearly showing him sticking to fundamental Republican principles of
supporting inequality, His Tea Party nutjob pals must be pretty proud
of this thinking that this douche bag is their guy for change, but not
the Massachusetts electorate.
In fact, a Suffolk University poll conducted in October 2009 found
that 52% of Massachusetts residents favor a constitutional amendment
favoring “recognition of legal marriage between people of the same
sex.” While Brown voted it down in the favor of inequality. He's there
for the people and is supposed to vote for them, not his goon buddies
in Washington.
Demonstrating how to strangle a homosexual without health care
Brown recently released a statement regarding Democratic candidate,
Martha Coakley’s stance on a “war tax.” Brown states:
“By signaling her openness to a "war tax," Martha Coakley is again
demonstrating just how willing she is to place additional burdens on
working families instead of looking for ways to cut back on spending.
We can afford to pay for our military priorities if we stop
Washington's domestic spending spree. The choice of U.S. Senator is
going to turn on this critical issue: who can voters trust to cut
wasteful spending, keep taxes low and get our economy moving again.”
Right, that makes a lot of sense. We’re fighting two wars currently.
Say what you want about the wars and whether you support them or not,
but there is only one way you can possibly fund anything in this
country: TAXES. How could you even logically think about lowering
taxes to pay for two wars? It’s fundamentally impossible. The fact
that major economists are stating the only way the United States could
get out of this recession is to raise taxes is another striking
contrast between common sense and Scott Brown. I understand that Brown
is trying to appeal to his base, but lowering taxes in a recession? If
you have an internet connection and voted for this clown you are a
moron or a jerk; probably both.
This Tea Partier is a "moran."
Our federal government is on a spending spree. We are in two wars and
our economy is in shambles. Historically, when President’s and
Congress’ have lowered taxes on the rich while government spending
remains high, the result is a federal deficit. Reagan caused it. Bush
I caused it. Bush II caused it. Clinton ended it. Let’s see, thats
Democrats: 1, Republicans: -3. Clinton raised taxes on the rich, and
cut wasteful government programs that took up most of our governmental
spending. This, according to economist Robert Freeman “produced the
longest sustained economic expansion in American history.”
And Scott Brown wants to continue the Bush tax cuts which tacked on $1
trillion onto the federal deficit.
Scott Brown also does not support teachers. Why? Well, he supports
charter schools. He supports funds going to charter schools rather
than the public school system, which is the most affordable for most
families struggling in this economy. I like charter Schools, hell, I
teach a class at one but that doesn't lobotomize me to the fact that
public schools need a lot more money, especially in MA.
Brown responded to the Massachusetts Teacher’s Association’s
endorsement of Mike Capuano by stating “I think our next U.S. senator
has to be in favor of high standards, choice and accountability in
public education. That means testing, charter schools and reforms that
make it easier to weed out bad teachers and reward the good ones.”
Blue Mass Group responded by stating:
“If by “high standards” he means continuing the failed policies of the
past administration, policies that left our public schools underfunded
and our students without the resources they need to get a quality
education, then he does not respect and support our teachers. The
burden unfairly falls on the teachers of Massachusetts and the
families whose children don’t receive the quality education they
deserve.”
Scott Brown supports underfunded public schools and underfunded
teachers. He does not support the public school system in
Massachusetts that is the only viable option for most families.
In true Bush Republican form (we all know how "conservative" that that
Toughskins, cowboy hat commercial wound up being) Scott Brown has
continually expressed his opposition to the public health care option,
which would provide quality health care for millions of Americans. In
not supporting this, Brown is in support of the 45,000 American
citizens dying every year due to lack of health insurance. Another
Suffolk poll, conducted in November 2009, found that 53% of Mass.
residents believe that the “Massachusetts Constitution should be
changed to make quality healthcare for every resident a right in
Massachusetts.”
And build a wall to stop Hawaiians from sneaking into the US
And Brown will continue to support the current system, with rising
costs, contributing to 62 percentage of all bankruptcies in this
country and one-third of all home foreclosures. Good call. I don't
need to cheer up, I don't have it in me to get angry at the goof balls
rocking the boat for what they must see as good sport. I am just
ashamed and disappointed to live in the same country as losers who
seem to hate gays but call themselves "Tea Baggers."
Instead of marching on various state houses and swinging their baggs,
they could have gone to a site like: http://www.votesmart.org and read
any of our nations representative's voting records and decide what is
more important; vote a guy in who will kill one vote you hate, but is
opposed to everything else you believe in or just man up and do the
right thing.
So I guess I am beyond anger and more into pitying people who voted
for Brown. When I went to vote and his supporters were there at North
Attleboro high school, it was like meeting the real life Omega house
from National Lampoon's Animal house. Not a one of them could give a
better reason as to why I should vote for Brown than he'd kill the (to
quote one extra special dude) "unconstitutional health care bill."
Being the prick I am, I carry around a copy of the pocket
constitution, it 's like idiot repellent and asked if anyone of them
could show me where it was stated anywhere in the US constitution
that a bill like this was unconstitutional. No one touched the
book/idiot repellent and one guy said that he did not argue with
irrational people. I think I have a right to be disappointed.
Yay, Al Qaeda has an American special needs cousin. It must suck being less educated than the guy who burned his dick of with his cotton brief bomb.
